John Lisi & Delta Funk
John Lisi and Delta Funk! Are a funky, bluesy, rockin’, roots
band from New Orleans, LA. John has been quoted as the “The
Real Deal” by Nightflying Magazine and “Blues Guitar Mastery”
says Gambit Weekly, New Orleans. Stylistically, the blues serve as
a launching pad for Lisi’s high-energy forays back into the
roots of rock-n-roll, Delta blues and early electric Blues, then right
back to the here and now, making it all sound relevant, fresh and
funky. The band consists of John Lisi on guitar, “Alabama Dave
Waldrop” on drums and Scott Jackson on bass.
