Old Alabama Town Sounds of Summer Concert Series
Old Alabama Town and the Alabama Jazz & Blues Federation co-host the Sounds of Summer Concerts in Kiwanis Park, adjacent to the Old Alabama Town Reception Center at 301 Columbus Street, June through Labor Day.

Times & Tickets
The gates open at 6 pm and bands play from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Admission is $5 for general public
Landmarks members and AJBF members - $3
Bring blankets, picnics, and lawn chairs for a great musical evening under the stars.

Microwave Dave & The Nukes

Microwave Dave & The Nukes draw on a firm foundation of house rocking, juke joint jamming blues, and continue to prove they are among the most entertaining acts at concerts and music festivals throughout the southeast. The band is composed of Microwave Dave Gallaher, on vocals, guitars, harmonicas and various horns, Rick Godfrey, on vocals, bass and harmonica, and Ardie Dean on drums.

Pat Ramsey & The Blues Disciples

From New Orleans, Pat Ramsey is considered by many to be a harp player’s harp player. The Blues Disciples have been a touring band for over seven years. They have appeared at Jazz Fest as Coco Roubiceax’s backup band after doing two tours of France with him. They have opened up for Johnny Winter (whom Part recorded with on the 1978 classic album “White, Hot and Blue”) and Brent Anderson at House of Blues New Orleans.

John Lisi & Delta Funk

John Lisi and Delta Funk! Are a funky, bluesy, rockin’, roots band from New Orleans, LA. John has been quoted as the “The Real Deal” by Nightflying Magazine and “Blues Guitar Mastery” says Gambit Weekly, New Orleans. Stylistically, the blues serve as a launching pad for Lisi’s high-energy forays back into the roots of rock-n-roll, Delta blues and early electric Blues, then right back to the here and now, making it all sound relevant, fresh and funky. The band consists of John Lisi on guitar, “Alabama Dave Waldrop” on drums and Scott Jackson on bass.
