Landmarks Foundation, in cooperation with the Alabama Humanities Foundation and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, will present the fifth symposium in the series “Alabama Frontier: Cultural Crossroads,” at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Auditorium on Saturday, January 28, 2006.

These five symposiums cover the history of the Alabama frontier, beginning with the mid-18th century European explorations. The fifth and final program will focus on the Removal of the Creeks from Alabama, providing insight into a most significant period in the history of the State.

C.E.U.’s will be offered to teachers who attend this event. Registration is $35.00 (includes lunch and refreshments), $30.00 for Landmarks Foundation members, and $20.00 for faculty and students. For more information and for registration, please call 240-4500 or 1-888-240-1850.
